This case study shows how we looked for a solution for a pension scheme client where it was unclear who the statutory employers were for Protection Fund (PPF) purposes. In the end legislative changes resolved the situation for us, but the process we went through provided pension members with greater certainty, more security and led to a stronger covenant assessment.
