Many people are feeling the pinch, so it isn’t surprising that the chance to get immediate cash by unlocking the money tied up in your pension scheme seems like an unmissable opportunity. Sadly, taking up such an offer frequently ends in disaster.

This pensions liberation article looks at some of the telltale features of these scams that should act as warning bells, and suggests some simple steps pension scheme trustees should take when they receive a request to transfer out.
