Tom is on our scheme manager training plan. He supports our professional trustees and scheme secretaries.
Tom began his pensions career in 2018 with XPS Pensions Group where he gained valuable experience working on defined benefit and hybrid scheme arrangements, calculating pension benefits for leavers, retirements, transfers and death benefits.
Tom provides support to clients, including both trusteeship and secretarial appointments. He has a rounded view of the governance required to help trustee boards operate digitally, concentrating on driving new technologies that can streamline schemes and keep them up to date on pension regulations.
Tom helps the team with preparing meeting agendas, handling scheme invoices, taking and drafting minutes, responding to member queries and organising meetings.
Tom achieved a first aid qualification with St John’s Ambulance during his second year of university. He has hiked to Preikestolen in Norway and also runs a gaming YouTube channel with over 1,000 subscribers.
Qualifications: BA Honours Philosophy and Politics, PMI CPC and currently studying BSc Honours Mathematics
