“Highly informative. Having leading professionals deliver the TKU course really adds value.”
“In my experience, not all professional trustees are able to cope with tricky or potentially confrontational situations. I find PSGS has massive experience in getting involved, earning the respect of others and resolving such issues. They get stuck in – they are a first rate team.”
“We now have a very collaborative approach between trustees and employer.”
“They are very proactive and full of new ideas, they've brought better scheduling and better minute sets.”
“The work that has been done has been delivered beyond expectations.”
“The Trustee Training course is very good. Excellent coverage of material presented in an easy-to-digest manner and quality of presentation by both presenters. ”
Sophie is on our graduate training scheme. She supports our professional scheme secretaries.
Sophie joined our graduate scheme directly from completing her law and business degree at the University of Brighton.
PSGS has put in place a training plan to provide Sophie with support and exposure to a wide range of areas to give her a good grounding in pensions and to begin building her knowledge.
Sophie has started with three main clients, including one Pension Protection Fund (PPF) case, to get a rounded view of the work we do, concentrate on learning the ropes and understand how pension schemes operate.
She helps the rest of the team by dealing with member related queries, updating scheme governance documents and action logs, collating meeting packs, providing secretarial support and producing trustee meeting minutes.
Sophie has achieved two bronze awards in the National Maths challenge and a silver award for supporting the Bar Pro Bono Unit, raising £6,000 for charity.
