Louise is a qualified lawyer and accredited professional trustee with a wide range of pensions experience.
Louise joined PSGS in 2021 following three years as a consultant for the Merchant Navy Officers Pension Fund focusing on employer funding negotiations. Before that, she was a partner at Baker McKenzie where she chaired the EMEA financial restructuring practice.
Louise has practical experience of single, multi-employer and industry-wide defined benefit (DB) and hybrid schemes. She has worked both sponsor and trustee side on a range of projects, including funding negotiations, de-risking, solvent and insolvent restructurings, wind downs and notifiable events.
Louise has navigated UK and multinational corporate and trustee boards in most sectors through corporate activity and financial distress. For any appointment, her focus is on prioritised outcomes, balancing risk management and good governance with commercial pragmatism.
Louise is part of the PSGS senior leadership team, supporting the PSGS board in developing the business, as well as taking on professional trustee appointments.
