Karen is an experienced pensions professional and co-ordinates day-to-day activities for a variety of pension schemes.
Karen began her pensions career in 1990 with Scottish Amicable as a pensions administrator. Over the years, she has developed her pensions knowledge working for several different companies including Aon and Hymans Robertson.
Karen has experience in managing pension administration projects, from implementing new schemes to managing them through the wind-up process and everything in between.
Karen joined us in 2023 from Virgin Money where she worked in the internal pension governance team, supporting the trustees on business as usual activity and a variety of projects. These included the merger of two defined contribution (DC) schemes, guaranteed minimum pension (GMP) rectification and equalisation and a bulk pension increase exchange exercise.
Outside of pensions, Karen is currently studying with the Open University for a degree in Spanish.
Qualifications: Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI), Diploma in Higher Education.
