Client feedback

I would recommend them to anyone - I have dealt with a number of other independent trustee firms and would rate PSGS as the best. We are very happy with Mark and the service we get.

Katherine Cross,

Their pragmatic approach helps with quick and easy decision making. Another approach might have made things more difficult.

As a pensions novice, I felt that the trustee training course gave me a good grounding.
Will Court
The Trustee Training course is very good. Excellent coverage of material presented in an easy-to-digest manner and quality of presentation by both presenters.

In my experience, not all professional trustees are able to cope with tricky or potentially confrontational situations. I find PSGS has massive experience in getting involved, earning the respect of others and resolving such issues. They get stuck in – they are a first rate team.

Jamie has extensive experience of delivering trustee services and managing pensions operations.

Background & experience

Jamie’s pensions experience began in 2005 as a trustee of the defined benefit (DB) scheme at Murco Petroleum Ltd, where he was a director. He also became chair of the trustee board.

In 2016, Jamie was appointed Chair of the Employers’ Panel at Nest, the UK’s largest master trust. In this non-executive role he represented the interests of over 800,000 employers and worked closely with the Nest trustee board and executive.

In 2017, Jamie joined The Pensions Advisory Service, managing a team providing auto-enrolment, DB, defined contribution (DC) and state pension guidance. He moved to a governance manager role for the National Grid gas DB scheme in 2019. He worked with the trustee board managing the audit, governance and compliance, administration and member sub-committees and the trustee’s relationship with the in-house administrator.
