“Ever increasing regulation has placed a heavy burden on trustees both in terms of time and the risk of non-compliance. PSGS has the experience and the resources to help trustees manage these burdens.”
“I enjoy working with PSGS and we have a very positive relationship. I was new to pensions and found them very helpful.”
“We are extremely pleased with the appointment we made. The way Ian reacts to us and works with us is brilliant. We are very happy.”
“Ian has added more value than we thought he would at the start… which shows it pays to go with someone who is doing the job of a professional trustee as their bread and butter.”
“I found the trustee training really beneficial, highly recommended. I am not a trustee, I represent the employer and I think it will be valuable for me in future, having a better understanding of the trustees' perspective.”
“They deliver above expectation when the scheme has a particular challenge.”
Fiona acts as chair of trustees for several clients and as sole trustee for others for ongoing final salary and hybrid schemes.
Fiona started her career in 1994 as Assistant Company Secretary for Bridport-Gundry Limited (now Bridport plc), also acting as inhouse Assistant Pensions Manager.
Fiona decided to focus solely on pensions, moving to work as Assistant Pensions Manager with SAUR Water and then Premier Hotels Limited where she undertook to bring in the administration of the GPP scheme.
Fiona moved into trusteeship when she joined us in 2001. Her wide experience means she understands the many complex challenges faced by schemes, sponsoring employers and co-trustees and is able to suggest pragmatic and effective solutions. She specialises in small to medium size pension funds.
Fiona has undertaken and successfully completed a Critical Thinking course run by Oxford University and has been a parent representative at her daughter’s school.
